AI-Generated Product Photography for Campaign-Ready Assets

Info
Walmart Canada's campaigns move fast, and product photography doesn't always keep up, especially for online-exclusive and client-requested items that missed the original shoot schedule. To close that gap, I used ChatGPT's image generation to produce supplementary product photos that could drop straight into active campaigns. I had the model analyze existing marketing shots, matching lighting, camera and lens profiles, and shot angles, with strict product-lock safeguards to keep packaging artwork and logos accurate. The output was high-res, print-ready, and visually indistinguishable from studio photography. I also developed the process into a documented Markdown-based skill (SKILL.md), so any team member can generate on-brand, press-ready photography without reverse-engineering the approach each time. What used to take days of studio coordination, styling, and post-production now takes minutes, giving the team a reliable way to fill asset gaps without slowing down or compromising quality.
